Energy Kinesiology Touch for Health 1
NCBTMB #450734-08 and AMTA accepted 14 contact hours
July 24-25, 2010 South Bend, Indiana
Instructor: Steve Woodward PKP, CMT, BCD, Professional Kinesiology Practitioner, Certified Touch for Health Instructor, and
Internationally Certified K-Power® Instructor Stephen Woodward works as a Professional Kinesiology Practitioner in Goshen, Indiana. He first became involved
with Kinesiology in the mid 1980¹s when he was treated for an extreme case of
TMJ
dysfunction. After having eight surgeries to rebuild his jaw joints and face, he was left incapacitated with pain and diagnosed at Mayo clinic
with Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and numerous other diagnosis. At
that time, he became a patient of Dr. George Goodheart Jr., the founder of ³Applied Kinesiology.² Steve recalls, ³Dr. Goodheart balanced the
muscles in
my face along with other treatments and gave me hope of a normal life. I
was so impressed with the work that I began learning all I could about Kinesiology.² Steve resumed his career as an airline pilot for several
years before taking early retirement to pursue a career in Kinesiology.
Through the integration of Eastern and Western medicine we have learned that we
can
get immediate feedback from the body by testing the relative strength of
the muscles. Muscles are powered by energetic pathways within the body. In
Touch for Health you will learn how to apply this knowledge to create balance within the body. Once balance is attained structurally, emotionally and nutritionally, the natural healing energy of the body is free to work.
Objective: The aim and purpose of the workshop is to introduce muscle testing as a tool to assess energy imbalances, and to show
kinesiological techniques for making choices in raising the potential of the person; to promote discovery learning in suitable components of the synthesis; to
offer a lifetime skill in promoting and maintaining well being; to bring
awareness to the public of the existence of kinesiology and the energy model. To
learn hands-on techniques that may help accelerate recovery from illness, pre
or post surgery, and injury, reduce or eliminate many different kinds of
pain, improve athletic performance, increase energy, show you immediately
which foods/supplements are benefitting or undermining your energy. Healthcare Professionals worldwide have found these classes amazingly helpful. Now anyone and everyone can benefit!
Outcome: At the end of the first level of this class, the student will
be able to understand the concept of energy in the body, based on
Traditional Chinese Medicine. Prepare the person for accurate feedback from muscle monitoring and demonstrate proficiency in muscle monitoring. Evaluate
energy on the 14 major meridians. balance the person¹s energy using neurolymphatic, neurovascular and spinal reflexes, meridian tracing, origin and
insertion technique and Emotional Stress Release methods. Understand the
importance of adding a goal to the 14 muscle balance. Balance the energy of others who cannot be muscle tested. Gain benefits in co-ordination, vision, sensory input, posture and simple pain relief.
You will need: Bring a massage table if possible and wear comfortable clothing. A book will be provided, although register at least a week
early to make sure a copy will be available the day of the class since limited number of books are on-hand.
