Are you a CMT?
You have sent in your application to the State, but what is your legal title?

You may apply for a License to be approved as a Certified Massage Therapist. A State License is issued (just as for any other recognized profession) however your professional title is CMT, Certified Massage Therapist. Not LMT or Licensed Massage Therapist as some practitioners have assumed. Also, municipalities do have the right to require you to adhere to their ordinances or zoning requirements. For additional information on the Indiana Certification of Massage Therapists, go to www.in.gov/pla/massage.html
