(Indianapolis, IN - April 7, 2010) - The Indiana Chapter of the American Massage Therapy Association will be raising money for Indianapolis-based Gleaners Food Bank during the weekend of April 10-11, 2010. AMTA-Indiana will be presenting continuing education classes for massage therapists during the weekend and will be holding a raffle consisting of donated items in order to raise money for Gleaners.
"We are thrilled to be able to make a significant contribution to help fight hunger in Indiana this weekend," stated Terri Brandt, board member for AMTA-Indiana. "100% of the proceeds from this raffle will go to Gleaners and will potentially provides hundreds of meals for those in need."
AMTA-Indiana's event is open to all massage therapists and features classes on stretching and soft tissue techniques by Bob McAtee.
