Please write and thank her for authoring and carrying this Bill again this session. She has long been a supporter of the Massage Therapy Profession.

SB10 Seeks Licensure of Massage Therapist in Indiana
It has been assigned to the Senate Committee of Health and Provider Services for a hearing. It is urgent that you contact the committee members below. It does not matter if they are your own Senators or not. It is wonderful if they are however! This is essentially the same Bill that emerged from the last session, and there are some amendments that we would like to see included during this process. It is important for our profession and public safety that the scope and definition of massage therapy be better defined and enforced. The current CMT Law was a good start, but it has not been enough.
Once you are happy with your note, in many cases you may copy and paste it. This allows you to make contact in an effecient manner.

It is possible that SB10 may be moved to another committee, but please make contact with the below Senators anyway. At this time we do not have a hearing date set. We are hopeful that it will be heard, but are concerned as the Statehouse is so busy with other business this session. Check back at www.amtaindiana.org for updates.

This Legislative Session began Jan. 4, 2012.
